Life chooses us, but we decide what to do next

There's certain things in life that we just have a knack with. Certain talents, gifts; call it what you want. Sometimes it just comes easily, other times we work hard at it. Whatever the reason,  life finds us wanting to progress to great heights, with these gifts in the forms of dreams and passion. 

We always have a choice, we can pursue this path, or we can ignore it, we can call it a waste and we can let it slip away, whatever we don't use is taken away and given to someone else.

The trap is pursuing money instead of this gift, the rules are bent when we have to pay rent, just to live on earth (thanks to Bela Fleck and the Flecktones for that line). We throw away what was handed to us, with no strings attached, the only condition that we make the best use of it without abuse.

It's time we threw off the scales from our eyes, and do what we're good at, pursue our dreams, because it was never about the money to begin with.
